We are back in the DEEP FREEZE here 16 degrees here now and that s the warmest it may get the next 5 days, starting tomorrow winds chills below 0 throw in 8-12 inches of snow this aft tonite to add to the fun

Drink cart is stocked tho

Snow already started around here. Forecast has been changed for my area from 6 to 10 inches. Now 12 to 16 inches.Heaviest snow expected between 5 P.M. today and 5 A.M. Wednesday morning. Gonna be certain spots that will be getting 2 inches an hour Evil or Very Mad

My company called off the 2nd and 3rd shifts for today and tonight at 8 O`clock this morning. My 1st shift for tomorrow was told to not even try to get in until around 10 A.M. in the morning. That is if we can even get in. Not worried though because like Nuttin I made sure the drink cart was fully loaded at 12 Noon today when I got out of work. If it looks to bad in the morning I am staying right inside and putting on a GREAT BIG STEW BAG with a combo of CHECKIN IN - Page 12 1852017433

and my 2 best friends Jack Daniels and Jim Beam. At least I am planning on staying warm and fuzzy inside lol!

Got 12 inches of snow here in Southeast Massachusetts did not get into work until 9 A.M. this morning 5 hours later then normal starting time. Took 2 hours to dig out my car and clean it off then decided I was not gonna take the chance of losing my parking spot so I took the city bus to work and home ( it stops right outside my company ) so I was Very Happy

Right now i'm not getting anything but cold here , it looks like the weather station was wrong , 10 miles east of me it is a sheet of ice and that is moving my way !

Going to make a quick run to the store to pick up a few things and refill the Drink Cart before it gets here , these fools around here have trouble driving on a bright sun shiny day with dry roads, no way in hell am i going to be on icy roads with them ...... Twisted Evil

I made it back from my store run ....and yep it's began snowing with a mix of sleet ...... i will NOT leave the house again today unless someone in my family is sick, hurt , dying , or dead ..... Twisted Evil

Talk about Dummies, we had 4 different incidents in parts of the State yesterday where people fell through the ice on ponds. It was almost 50 last weekend and it hasn t re frozen enough to fish or skate on yet. Our Gov had to go on the news last night and ask people to call the Public Works Dept or FD before going on it, BUT PLEASE DON T TEST IT BY WALKING ON IT !! HERE S YOU SIGN !! affraid

.... they say this will stick around for a couple days , not like most of the time when it's all gone within a hour after it stops snowing .

The last time it did that here was in 1992 ......... affraid

Come up here where I am.... Last month and a half 27 inches of snow and the highest temp has been on 1 day 60 then right back into the deep freeze.... Temp got back up to at least 48 on Saturday but that lasted about 10 hours Twisted Evil

Going right back into morning lows of teens and wind chills in single digits or below again this week. I cannot wait until I am sweating my balls off this summer and then bitching and complaining about that lol!

..... telling us to be ready for power outages that could last up to 3 to 5 days ....... affraid

They are expecting thing's to be so bad here that they have got help already coming here from other states ......... Shocked

Never did update you guys, but I managed to get Unemployment starting 2 weeks ago! I was denied in December, but when the new quarter started I qualified for a full 26 weeks! Blessed and Relieved!

OK 4:30 here now , solid sheet of ice about 1 inch deep here and it's still coming down .

We are home to stay , there's close to 1 1/2 inches of ice on the ground now and it is really just starting , they say we could see 3 to 5 inches of ice before morning with 3 to 5 inches of snow on top of it .

Well we ended up getting about 4 inches of ICE and maybe 2 inches of snow .....very slick out there right now !

NO SAND , NO SALT in this area so i guess it will just have to melt away ....21 degrees here right now supposed to get up to 34 today and back down in the low 20's tonight .

.... Saw the pictures on CNN today of Atlanta and the highways being one giant traffic pileup with people being stranded for up to 20 hours. What the HELL would you guys do with 12 to 16 inches or higher of snow like we get up here in New England Question

After being married for 50 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, "Fifty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofabed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 23-year-old girl.

Now ... I have a $750,000 home, a $45,000 car, anice big bed and a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 73-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Got lucky around here.... Went to work at 3:30 A.M. to clear skies.... Snow came down heavy for about 3 hours between 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. then changed over to freezing rain then just plain rain around 11:00 A.M. When I got out of work 1:00 P.M. most of the 4 inches of snow we got through the morning was already getting washed away Very Happy

.... Temps gonna drop over night though and everything gonna re-freeze... Not looking forward to tomorrow morning at 3:30 A.M. going to work on a sheet of ice affraid
