It's dead here right now .....i guess everyone is resting up for the MLB playoffs and the start of football season ......

Still glad to have this site and you guys around..... Been getting my 35 -40 hours a week still through our slow season. Looks like better days ahead coming up. Ground been broken on new 112,000 SQ. FT. expansion to the plant. Still about 1 year from being done but already new cooking kettles being installed and just about 1 month away from getting back to 65 to 70 hour work weeks ( including Saturdays and Sundays )    from August thru November.... A 4 month long stretch of HELL, but all the overtime gets put in the bank to help with these slow times of not having it....
 
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU MY FRIENDS !!!!! Through long rough times over the last several years we have all stayed with each other on this site and grown to respect each other with all of our different problems. Even though we are all in different parts of the country and have never met in a group I cannot say that I have had a better group of people ( to call my friends ) then all of you. Hope all can keep their heads up high and know that everything we have all gone through has made us stronger then ALL that tried to bring us down. Lets Make the rest of the SUMMER TIME and the SUN remind us of what happiness used to be

What the judge didn't allow the defense to use in the case was Trayvon's  past ..... not sure if you guys know all about this or not ...... he was expelled  from 3 schools for fighting with not only students but teachers along with the counselors and principles  , he also had 3 prior arrests for drugs and was a gang member . He also had pictures of him holding several different gun's on his cell phone ..one for sure was a Tel Mex 9 MM , i know for sure of that, cause i've got one ....it's a bad boy .

Still doesn't make it right to shoot a unarmed 17 year old , but here in Florida the Stand Your Ground Law ( which came about because of all the illegals in the state doing home invasions ,rapes, murder's, kidnappings ,car jacking's and robbery's ) allows you to use deadly force on any attacker anywhere as long as you do not throw the first blow and you are in fear of further aggression  from your attacker.

I'm not taking either side on this one , but just look around when you get out and about , see how many aggressive, arrogant ,self centered kid's/teenagers you run into, it's a shame that things have came down to the way they are now day's.

Like i said i'm not taking either ones side here , they both did wrong !
Zimmerman did wrong by following Trayvon , Trayvon  did wrong by attacking Zimmerman , that just the way i see it .

If someone has been STALKING me, and then approaches me, for DAMN SURE I m going to defend myself. Zimmerman profiled him, and decided he didn t like the way he looked, knowing nuttin about his past, only the 2 of them know what really happened.

Very true . They both did wrong! Zimmerman should have at least got involuntary manslaughter .

That carries a 10 year sentence here in Florida! Your out in 5 years but it's something !

A jury decided not guilty , so not for me to question .

Didn't really watch the trial. Seems the prosecutors went for a charge they didn't have evidence for. Probably would have got a conviction on a lesser charge. Not the first time a person who was probably guilty of something walked. Media circus on both sides led to the tension. 

 Anybody out there know what this so called HEAT WAVE is all about up here in the Northeast   I have been in 34 degree conditions at work for the last 3 days then into a A/C car then to a A/C BAR for nice ice cold adult beverages back into a nice A/C car then home to a nice A/C home. What the HELL is eveyone`s problem

It's all good , bud ! 

It's a cool 94 degrees with a heat index of 102 ...... when is it going to get hot ....   

But i at least have ice cold beverages ......     

Just got a call for a job. Last year I had a job at a steel mill on the river south of Pittsburgh. New job is at a steel mill on the Allegheny north of Pittsburgh. Just gotta aim the car in the opposite direction. Should be good now until the end of the year, so they say. I've learned in my over 22 years in construction duration is always subject to change. All I know is I have a place to be at 6:30am and that's a VERY good thing! Not really sure the hours so I'll check back in soon with more details. Gotta get things in order so I will end now. 4:30 wakeup will be here soon!
