Sure hope they can REALLY relieve your pain somehow, Chit!

I'm getting a little better everyday. I wake up feeling good, move around, then the stomach muscles get sore. The pain hasn't been bad though. Got stuck in my recliner yesterday, couldn't figure out help to lift the old body without twisting. Smile

Thanks Bud , doc says its no big deal, except for the word surgery , i'll be down for a couple weeks then a month of therapy , and should be good to go ..... Very Happy

Chit just seeing this. Best wishes to you to get some relief.

Know all about the sciatica, as I have a herniated disc, and it decides to kick up from time to time. My left leg at those times goes from pain to being numb.

chit and sports, glad to hear you guys are doing OK. Haven't checked in cuz I've been dealing with my own issues the last week. Woke up last Tues. with a rapped heart beat that wouldn't go away. Went to the ER with a BP of 157/135 and a pulse of 128. They gave me lots of drugs and calmed me down.

Went to a MD Fri. and my BP was 120/90 with a pulse of 65. Been takin' some BP meds and it's helping, want to get off these meds asap. They did lots of test and everything is OK, heart, lungs and liver. The problem is for being in such good shape I'm in bad shape. Need to start riding my bike and walking again.

God... we're all getting OLD lol!

Sports, it wasn't that scary till I was at the ER, when I got there there was about 15 people waiting to be helped and when I got to talk to someone they just grabbed all my info and said she would fill out the paperwork and sent me back ahead of everyone else. Within 10 min I was hooked up to the EKG and they were handing me all kinds of pills, after six hours they let me go.

Chit, I plan to keep up on this my biggest concern is the side effects of the BP meds, the only one so far is being a little tired. The one I was more concerned about hasn't happened four times in the last week, if you know what I mean Cool

Nuttin'. I'm doing pretty good all thing considered it's not as bad as this song, but I love this song...

Good afternoon all , i'm up and about although still sore but hey i'm moving .... Very Happy

Low down on my back ...... my back pain came from an old high school football injury , they said that back then the magnification on the x-ray machine's were not strong enough to show the splinter breaks in my spine , that's what caused calcium build up's which interfered with the nerve .......they basically had to shave my lower spine to fix it .

When i was first injured they called it a severe back contusion with a severe sprain to the back.......i was playing football again in 5 weeks.

Glad to hear you're up and about chit. My old HS/College football injuries are a shoulder and a knee. The knee is the worst sometime when I squat down I can't get up or fall over.
