A few thoughts on the SEC OOPS Sorry Chit I mean BCS Rankings. BAMA is clearly one, Oregon and K State should be a TIE right now, I m just glad the Irish matter again after all these years, but 5 out of the top 8 from the SEC ?? Cmon man !!

10-3 countin Thursday in the Pros also got the Eagles tonight.

3-1 ATS Not only did my blow a 10 point lead, and get manhandled in the 4th quarter, MUCH worse, they cost me my ticket !!

To be honest , it appears it is set up so if ALABAMA wins out and OREGON , K STATE and NOTRE DAME all fall we will see another SEC battle for the NCG .....

Are these play in games ?? Or is it just the top 4 in the playoff, and they just added a bowl game that they will call a BCS BOWL ??

I could be wrong but this is what I think, hope this helps...

There will be 6 bowls where the playoffs as well as other "BCS" bowls will be rotated

4 teams will play the national semi finals in 2 of those 6 games
8 teams will play in BCS bowls among the 4 other sites
National championship played at other neutral site

SEC, Big 10, Big 12, ACC and Pac-12 champs all get auto berths.
The highest champ among MWC, WAC, Big East, MAC, Conf USA and Sun Belt will get an auto berth.
The Rose will continue to match Pac-12 vs Big 10
Sugar Big 12 vs SEC
Orange ACC vs ND/SEC/Big 12
All above contingent on their champs not being selected for the national semi finals

That means 7 of the 12 berths will be auto berths, other 5 at large
