Looks like the starting rotation could look something like this

Kershaw L
Greinke R
Beckett R
Billingsley R
Ryu L

One thing I like about this is 4 of the 5 are in their 20's, with Beckett being the old man at 32.

Still not sold on Greinke, I think LA should have gone after Anibal Sanchez (rumors are LA might still try to get him) could have got him for about a third of what they paid for Greinke. Their numbers are about the same in the regular season and Sanchez has much better numbers in the postseason.

Career averages...
Sanchez: 3.75 era, 1.346 whip, 200 hits, 85 earned runs, 2.29 so/bb, 204 innings.
Greinke: 3.77 era, 1.247 whip, 200 hits, 84 earned runs, 3.51 so/bb, 202 innings.

Postseason...
Sanchez: 1.77 era, 20.1 innings.
Greinke: 6.48 era, 16.2 innings.

The HOF is a Museum! Players ahould be inducted based on statistics. These holier-than-thou writers are trying to 'play God' deciding who injested what drugs or steriods! The generation before distributed illegal amphetamines to make it through doubleheaders. Sounds like cheating to me. I can not stand Bonds or Clemons, but they are the best hitter and pitcher of their generation and should be in the Hall! Just my opinion! Smile

Agree, and those writers should remember the Home Run chase between McGuire and Sosa brought interest back in the game when it needed it
