A few words about the SEC CG. I have nuttin but respect for the Football program. But I think even Chit will say this isn t one of their vintage teams. Injuries, and youth stop them from being that. In the 2 games they played against quality opponents, they almost
lost at LSU, Not an easy place to win, but against a team that is a step down from last year, and did lose at home to AM.

However, if they pull it off, and there is no reason to believe they can t, it will set up a Title Game between 2 of the most storied programs ever in College Football!! And will easily be the most watched, and probably most hyped, College Football game EVER!!

I agree NUTTIN ...injuries and youth have held ALABAMA down a bit , injuries the most .....but as far as the close game at LSU , LSU for the 5th season in a row took a bye week, before they played ALABAMA..... That bye week was the week of ALABAMA playing unbeaten #8 MISS. ST ........ Although ALABAMA won that game ...they lost 2 key players, one on defense, one on offense and one other player twisted his ankle in that game, but did play some in the LSU game......now not making excuses here , BAMA played ....MISS ST. ....then LSU at home, down 5 key players , to season ending injuries , plus during that game A.J. injured his throwing shoulder and twisted his knee on the same play. TEXAS A&M played a very exhausted and injury riddled team and won. But i will give A&M this they have a great QB, and if he doesn't get hurt will give a lot of teams a very hard time.

GEORGIA will get ALABAMA after two cupcake games (W. CAROLINA & AUBURN ) where the starters all rested in the second half, ALABAMA will also get back 2 defensive players from lesser injuries but have not played much in the last 4 games , also one offensive lineman after a sprained knee injury from the A&M game...Plus A.J. is completly healed from the shoulder and knee ...I think BAMA is ready for GEORGIA .....but as always anything can happen any given saturday ........

One thing to say about tonight’s game, never seen such poor clock management on both sides. Bama should have scored a TD before half-time and took two TO's into the locker room. UGA, how do you not spike that ball with 12sec to go in the game?

Good luck to both teams playing for the crystal ball, still not sure who I'm gonna root for .

11-2 on my college picks! First off--WOW, that was an epic battle in the Georgia Dome! Talk about your heavyweight slugfests. Alabama's 2nd half running game with Lacy and Yeldon behind that huge offensive line was incredible. Georgia never backed down and that's what made it a game for the ages! Congrats Chit, I'll be pulling for your Tide in January!

Only big surprise was the Big Ten Championship! Watched a lot to Big 10 football this year and I dure didn't see that one cominng! Seems that Wisconsin played the disrespect card-Big Time! So the 8-5 Badgers go to the Rose Bowl.

Very sad story about a 3 month old orphan, a murdered woman, and a cowardly murderer, who had it all, and took the easy way out! I hope all the talking heads on the pregame shows report it this way this morning! I know they won't!

On a much more happy note, it's an NFL SUNDAY! Get the Patriots/Dolphins and the Vikings/Packers @ 1pm! Not sure either game will be close, the Patriots have been really rolling of late!

Of course at 4:25pm, my Steelers hobble into Baltimore without their franchise QB and an offensive line that looks like a jig-saw puzzle! All-pro center Maurice Pouncey might play guard and a 7th round rookie is starting at right tackle! Hopefully 38 yr old, 3rd string QB Charlie Batch isn't in the Obituary section of the paper tomorrow after facing the Ravens' defense! That said, if the Steelers don't turn the ball over(like they did EIGHT times last week), they have a figher's chance against the rival Ravens! At least I hope so!

Well guy's ALABAMA , almost beat themselves , fumble, interception in the endzone, a blocked fieldgoal and poor clock management But somehow they over came it and won ......thats what champions do right ?

Georgia has no reason to hang it's head , they are a great team with a LOT of heart.

Talking about the NOTRE DAME VS ALABAMA game, who knows what the first half will look like , it will take both teams the entire first quarter if not longer just to get their heads back on straight so we can see the two teams go at eachother.
