Sorry sports, but I'm not sure how you could feel bad for Redd he bailed on his team and made a deal with one of the sleaziest coaches in the country. Also his major was not even offered as a degree program at USC, he might have believed the preseason polls with USC #1.

Sort of what I meant, Redd and his handlers thought the grass was greener at SC, he got caught up in all the negativity. He could have been part of a Penn State team that is going to be remembered for a long time around here.

Agree, he could have been remembered as a player who stuck it out with his team-mates, team and school. Now he will be just a footnote for this year along with the other players who left when things got tough.

For the record I am totally against our grandstanding, idiot Governor Corbett filing a lawsuit against the NCAA! He's about 7 months late on that one! Penn State wants nothing to do with it and I think it is a political stunt for votes. He was state Attorney General at the start of the investigation of the jailed animal(hate even saying his name) and is probably part of the coverup!

And yes I am very worried about Coach O'Brien leaving! That would be the final nail in the coffin!

Jones, a senior from Germantown, Tenn., has practiced only twice since injuring the foot in the first quarter of Alabama's 32-28 victory over Georgia in the SEC championship game on Dec. 1. If he does it won't be for the money, think he's making about 4mil now. It will be for the challenge and that's what he is all about, so I wouldn't be surprised. But if he thinks about it he will not have as much control over choosing players and coaching kids that want to learn. I think it's 60-40 he stays.
