WOW just a good old time take them out behind the woodshed ASS kicking. Always saw Seattle winning but not like this blow out Soooooooooo much about the Peyton Manning legacy goes right down the drain.... He still chokes in the big game when slapped right in the mouth by a good defense...

Re: LETS TALK FOOTBALL
Missed that pick really bad didn't I! Very dominate performance by the Seahawks. I didn't get to watch them that much this year; so I had no idea how fast and hard hitting their defense was!
Very upset about Bettis again not making the HOF! The 6th leading rusher of all time shouldn't have to wait this long! What a joke!

Re: LETS TALK FOOTBALL
O.M.G. Boston sports radio station WEEI 98.5 just reported today that at the NFL combine over the last few days that NFL media reports ( Chris Mortenson and Todd Mcshay ) say that Alabama QB A.J. Maccaron has made it known that he would love to be drafted by the New England Patriots. My as of now hold the 29th pick in the first round of the draft and also the 61`st pick ( round 2 )... If this kid is there at 29th pick I might just take a shot at him or if the think he is gonna slip farther down ( which most experts are saying ) if he his still there at the 61`st pick in the 2nd round I grab this kid and let him sit behind Tom Brady for the next 3 or 4 years until Brady decides to call it quits.... This kid has more upside then Backup QB Ryan Mallet has right now behind Tom Brady. Would love to see this kid in New England

Hey BUD, i think i posted it on here earlier , that AJ said he had 3 teams in mind and if he couldnt play for one of these 3 he would rather go on with the career he had a degree in . His teams were as listed
1.
2.
3 COLTS
But there were 3 others he would consider
FALCONS
PACKERS
SAINTS
He's already RICH AS HELL so money will not play that big of a role in it !
The McCarron's are extremely well off ........

Re: LETS TALK FOOTBALL
Nice that the Steelers are on his list. Probably because of its reputation as a stable, class organization. The Steelers have way to many holes to fill to draft another QB right now. Still don't know why they took Landry Jones last year. That said I love AJ and really think he has a etter chance of being a good pro than Mr Football. Just my opinion.

Last year he said in a interview that he thought he could learn a awful lot from BIG BEN ,But he would still rather be schooled by BRADY than any other QB , BIG BEN being he's second pick , after that he jokingly said he wished that BRADSHAW would help him out no matter where he plays ........

Hey Chit... Hate top give you the BAD news early. But as I see it Alabama is gonna suffer 2 big heartbreaking losses this season to 2 of college footballs major powers.... ( week 2 ) against Florida Atlantic and ( week 11 ) against Western Carolina.... Sad thing is both of these losses will come in the comfy surroundings of Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The deal is for one year and $5 million, according to a league source.

Boston Globe and Boston Herald both reporting that my are looking to find a way to move up in Round 2 of the draft tonight to take QB A.J. McCarron from Alabama to be Tom Brady`s new future backup Both papers have the Houston Texans in serious talks with the Patriots about trading for now backup QB Ryan Mallett that would free up the possible drafting of McCarron.

Jos that's the same boy/man that i told you about ......remember me saying he stayed at my house many many times , him and Mike ( my youngest son) are big buds . SABAN wanted him to come play for , but he said he really wanted to go back home and play for OKLAHOMA !
They got a great player/ as well as respectful kid bud !
In high school he ran for 7 touchdowns , 2 of over 90 yards , plus 1- 105 yard kickoff return , so 8 TD'S in one game !

Hale Hentges commits to Alabama
Much has been written about Missouri's ability to recruit players from the Southeast since the Tigers' entry into the SEC, but on Sunday the Tigers discovered the recruiting trail can be a two-way street.
Alabama landed a commitment from tight end Hale Hentges, the No. 56 player in the ESPN 300 and the No. 2 player in Missouri.
Hentges selected the Crimson Tide after landing scholarship offers from more than 30 other schools, but in the end he picked Alabama over the in-state Tigers. For Alabama, it's another addition to what already ranks as the best 2015 recruiting class, and for Missouri it was a significant recruiting defeat.

Nick Saban's big deal given OK
Six months after Alabama agreed to a long-term deal to keep Nick Saban as head coach, details of his contact were voted and agreed upon by the school's compensation committee Tuesday.
The four-time championship-winning coach will make an NCAA-best $6.5 million in base salary per year through Jan. 21, 2022. The new contract adds two years and roughly $1 million annually in salary from the previous raise he received in April 2013.
Saban also will be awarded a $400,000 completion bonus per year, bringing the total contract to $55.2 million.

Notre Dame, Georgia agree to series
Notre Dame and Georgia officially announced Wednesday a home-and-home series for the 2017 and 2019 seasons, marking the first regular-season matchups between the storied programs.
The Fighting Irish will host the Bulldogs on Sept. 9, 2017, in South Bend, Indiana, before visiting Athens, Georgia, on Sept. 21, 2019.
"As our football schedules evolved with the start of our Atlantic Coast Conference competition in 2014, we had future games slated with top-drawer opponents in virtually all the major conferences," Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick said in a statement. "One exception was the Southeastern Conference, so we are pleased now to be able to check that box. These will be two contests that will have great national appeal, in part because our only previous matchup came in a bowl game."

Alabama and Southern California Set for 2016 Cowboys Classic
July 16, 2014
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team will open the 2016 season in the Cowboys Classic against Southern California at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, with information on ticket sales as well as television coverage and kickoff time to be determined at a later date.
The eighth annual Cowboys Classic will be the eighth meeting between these storied programs, and the first regular season match-up since the 1970s when they split four epic battles during the 1970, 1971, 1977 and 1978 seasons. This came at a time in college football history when both universities were fighting for the national title on an annual basis, including a shared title in 1978 - when the only loss on Alabama's 11-1 record was a 24-14 defeat at the hands of a Trojans team that posted a 12-1 record and won the Rose Bowl. The two schools also squared off in the 1985 Aloha Bowl, with the Crimson Tide winning that contest 24-3. Alabama leads the all-time series 5-2.
Under head coach Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide has played in five previous neutral site regular season games and has two more on the schedule over the next two years. Alabama has a 4-1 mark in these games under Saban, which includes four straight wins. The Tide played Florida State in Jacksonville in 2007 as well as Clemson (2008) and Virginia Tech (2009 and 2013) in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta. UA played in the 2012 Cowboys Classic and defeated Michigan in front of 90,413 fans. Alabama will open the 2014 season in Atlanta with a matchup against West Virginia in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff and play Wisconsin on September 5, 2015, in Arlington.
The game will mark the eighth contest in the Cowboys Classic series with ABC/ESPN. Each matchup has featured nationally ranked teams with Brigham Young University upsetting the University of Oklahoma 14-13 in inaugural game in 2009, TCU knocking off Oregon State 30-21 in 2010, LSU defeating Oregon 40-27 in 2011, Alabama downing Michigan 41-14 in 2012 and LSU's 37-27 victory over TCU in 2013.

College Football Rankings 2014: Preseason Top 25 Prediction Has Florida State, Alabama Atop Poll
The 2014 college football season is just around the corner, as the schedule will begin in the final week of August.
Florida State looks to defend its national title, while returning its No.1 player. The Seminoles are clearly one of the favorites to compete for a championship this year, but who else is projected to have a big season?
Below is the projected 2014 preseason top 25 rankings.
1) Florida State
After winning the national championship, the Seminoles remain the best team in the country, bringing back Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston, who should only get better in his second season.
2) Alabama
The Crimson Tide is almost always in the national title conversation under Nick Saban, going 72-9 in the last six years. Alabama's defense is particularly strong, while Amari Cooper might be the best wide out in the nation.
3) Oregon
The return of quarterback Marcus Mariota and five starting offensive lineman makes the Ducks a title contender, though they’ll have to compensate for the loss of their top receivers.
4) Oklahoma
If Trevor Knight can consistently play like he did in last season’s Sugar Bowl, the sky is the limit for the Sooners. Oklahoma may coast in the second half of the season.
5) Auburn
With most of the team’s offensive starters returning, the Tigers will have a chance to win the SEC for a second straight year. Expect Auburn to get off to a hot start and win defensive battles.
6) Ohio State
Braxton Miller should lead a top offensive unit, but it’s the team’s improved defense that has a chance to elevate them to the next level. Urban Meyer has Nov. 8 circled on his calendar when OSU visits Michigan State.
7) Stanford
The Cardinal’s ground and pound attack got them to the Rose Bowl last year, and it could do the same for them in 2014. After Stanford likely destroy UC Davis in the season opener, David Shaw's squad will have a big test against USC, a program they have gotten the best of over the years.
UCLA
With Brett Hundley at quarterback, and in experienced offensive line, the Bruins have a chance to make a lot of noise in 2014. The Bruins defense could be a surprise despite the loss of Anthony Barr.
9) Georgia
The Bulldogs might not be as good as Alabama or Auburn, but they’re still the top team in the SEC East. Keep an eye on Todd Gurley, who might be a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy.
10) Baylor
With one season under his belt as Baylor’s starting quarterback, Bryce Petty could perform even better with the nation’s top scoring offense. The Bears will roll through their first few games against SMU, Northwestern State and Buffalo, and only have one road game in their last five games.
