My BRUINS looked good once again, but as the old hockey saying goes ( A series does not start until the home team loses a game ) Tuesday night in game 3 will show where this series is gonna go. Of course it does not help the RANGERS when their loud mouth head coach starts telling the media after game 1 that one of his players SUCKS and does not belong on the ice for power plays. Nothing shows more support for one of your players then RUNNING him over with the team bus and then backing up over him and running him over again 100 times just to make sure he is DEAD

I probably won't get to see much of the game got major Dad stuff to do. My son is graduating from the VoTech tonite. He went there half a day for the last 3 school years for Computer Technology. He'll be graduating high school in 2 weeks! But still....Let's Go Pens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to see 3rd period explosion by Pens. If things hold a Pens/Bruins Eastern Conference Final is going to be incredible. Hoping nuttin's Rangers can push back a bit first though. (Did I just type that! ) It's all in fun.

Hey nuttin, Do you think this is the end of Tort's? Not sure how he's viewed by Ranger insiders, sort of a hot-headed joke around here. Obviously a good coach, just think they might go with a more offensive minded coach. With all the talent the Rangers have, it seems they should score more.

This is gonna be a good old fashioned BACK ALLEY BRAWL The PENS may have been 3-0 this season against my BRUINS but all 3 games were 1 goal games 3-2...... 2-1...... 3-2 This series just may come down to the Bruins power play defense against the Penguins top ranked power play offense. One thing for sure though who ever comes out on top after this series is gonna have to earn every GOAL. Let the BRAWL begin.

1 down and 3 to go for my BRUINS ....... Just like I said this series is gonna be a Back Alley Brawl. If Crosby and Malkin want to keep trying to get physical with the B`s instead of concentrating on offense all the better for the Bruins. Lets get to Game 2 now.

It's pretty evident that the Bruins watched tape of last year's Flyers series. The Pens leaders will melt down if agitated, especially Malkin. Crosby has to be better than that. Your (Jos) Bruins played great and Rask stood on head. Biggest key was that Julien coached circles around Bylsma. You have to be able to get Crosby away from Bergeron when you you have last change at home. Everyone around here thinks Bylsma is some kind of genius, not me. Anyone could coach this 'All Star" team and he's responsible for screwing up the goalie situation for years to come! Also the way he's been playing Iginla on his off wing does not make sense. He let's the imates run the asylum. If the Pens do win, it will be despite his coaching. My Sunday morning rant! PS I hate Matt Cooke too! I would have cut him 3 years ago. If you want an idiot for their third line, there are plenty of cheaper($) models all over the AHL.

I HATE Matt Cooke also He should be thrown out of hockey for all the cheap shots he has given other players. People have been saying he is a changed person. Thats a bunch of total BULLSHIT Everyone forgets he is the player that cost the Bruins Marc Savard his playing career for that Horrible and should have been Criminal head shot back in 2010. Like you Sportsnut this is my Sunday morning rant. If I was Cam Neely or coach Julien I would bring up some GOON from Providence and just let him take Matt Cooke out for good and deal with the 5 minute penalty and game misconduct

That's what I was trying to say Bud. There is no place in any sport for that hit. He is gone after this season, I never liked him. I love physical play in hockey, but not cheap shots. Don't know how fans can cheer Cooke, and boo Steckel(the guy who blind-sided Sid in the Winter Classic). On top of that , he adds very little and takes stupid penalties at the worst times.

Still am puzzled by the Bruins total dominance. They are a great team, but that doesn't explain the Pens meltdown. Jos your boys are really putting a whooping on the Pens, I personally think its over; hoping I'm my usual wrong!

Boy was I totally wrong about this series. Instead of a Back Alley Brawl like I tought it would be this is just the BRUINS taking the PENGUINS out behind the Wood Shed and kicking their ASS up and down the whole sheet of ice by the 3rd period every Penguins player looked like he was ready for the golf course ...... I know there is still hockey to be played but it does look like the PENS have run up the WHITE FLAG OF SURRENDER

Although I deep down think my Pens are done; I'll be rooting and cheering as hard as ever tonight. Too much talent, I hope, to go down without at least a fight. I want to see some heart from all the supposed superstars that that GM Ray Shero has assembled. Got my Lemieux jersey and 2009 Championship hat on, so I'm ready! First congrats to Jos, as a fan there is no greater high to have your team win in OT! Can't question heart of either team. Great game I take my hat off{and expose my balding and graying head} to Rask and Boston's defense! Never thought a team could completely shut down the Pens! As a fan, I think this Bruin team is destined to win it all, their on quite a roll since the Miracle comeback in Game 7 against Toronto.

GREAT GREAT game The Penguins threw everything they had left at Tuuka Rask last night and he stood on his head ( 53 saves ) now my BRUINS have to drive the final nail in PITTSBURGHS coffin on Friday night. Cannot even give them a smell of coming back. Tough win for the B`s though ( losing Gregory Campbell to that broken leg on blocking a shot ) is gonna hurt them a little bit ..... Never saw this defensive lock down the Bruins have come up with ever taking place but also very Just hope Game 4 does not go into double O.T. again .Going to work this morning on just 3 and a half hours sleep was not good
