Major problem with the committee having TCU 3 spots ahead of Baylor. If TCU and Baylor win this week, Baylor wins the tiebreaker and therefore the Big 12 championship. there is no logical explanation for TCU to go ahead of Baylor. Head-to-head has to be the FIRST TIEBREAKER!
Also I really can't believe Florida St keeps dropping. And I the biggest Criminole hater out there. What the committee is telling us is that if Mississippi State had beat Ole Miss; Florida State would have been out of the Top 4. Proof is that TCU jumped FSU in the standings.
What happens now if Ohio State, with their 3rd string QB, beats a very good Wisconsin team.

Now some of my picks might straighten this mess out. Hopefully the committee sobers up by Sunday and gets it all right.

Alabama,Oregon,Florida St,Baylor,and Ohio St. all go down ( I did not include T.C.U. in this upset projection because they should just wipe the field with Iowa St. ).... Really reaching with these thoughts but what a TOTAL NIGHTMARE the Playoff Committee would then have on their hands

Went to bed last night thinking I was going to have to find another way to watch the SEC Championship and the Steelers this weekend. Dish and CBS were fighting like 2 year olds and CBS pulled their channel last night at 7! I was slightly upset! Luckily they came to their senses, and they had a contract signed by 7 this morning. So Yay Football!

Boy did Oregon look good last night! My final 4 after Ohio State and Florida State lose today! Alabama, Oregon, Baylor, TCU!

10-4 also on my college picks. Almost got my Georgia Tech pick right. Shocked by the show Ohio State put on. I really am interested in today's announcement of the top 4. One of the only criteria the committee has is conference champs, so by every logical tiebreaker Baylor is the Big 12 champs! Have a feeling Baylor might just finish 6th in this committees final rankings. All I know is my eye test says Alabama and Oregon are the 2 best teams. I also think that Oklahoma's loss yesterday will hurt both Big 12 teams, and I would put Florida State and Ohio State at 3 and 4. And I personally don't like either of those programs! We will see at 12:30 today!

On to the NFL! Playoffs start today for the Steelers in Cincinati! I think they'll have to win out to make the playoffs. And I don't have a good feeling at all about their chances!

Yes that's the first thing I thought of too, Chit! From what I've see on Twitter today, the players and most fans are really happy to go to a bowl. Lots of alumni in NYC area, so Penn State should have some fans there. No trash talking here, the Lions offense is awful. Penn State/BC used to  play yearly when they both Eastern independents.

10-5 with the Packers tonight on my NFL picks. The "Good" Steelers showed up yesterday and won a huge game in Cincinnati! This is probably the worst Steelers defense in years. But there is a lot of talent of this offense. That is why being a fan of this team is so, so frustrating. When Ben, Le'Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown are on this team can beat anyone! All 3 are on pace to break Steelers single season records.

That's exactly what my son Terry called it , but he retired NAVY , and is in the Pentagon now .He served on 3 different carriers , the LINCOLN , REAGAN ,H.W. BUSH . over a 20 year period .

Auburn freshman killed in shooting

AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn freshman football player Jakell Mitchell was shot and killed Sunday morning at an apartment complex near the Auburn University campus, police and news reports said.

Auburn Police Capt. Will Matthews told The Associated Press that police responded at 12:25 a.m. Sunday to a shots fired call the Tiger Lodge apartment complex, where the 18-year-old Mitchell was found. Mitchell was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Interesting week with some games seemingly guaranteed blowouts and a few teams down to their 3rd string QB. I think the Steelers 3rd string QB is Landry Jones and he hasn't dressed yet. Speaking of my Steelers; with the Ravens finishing with the Texans(3rd string QB) and the Browns(No QB ); looks like the Steelers have to win out to win the division(Chiefs and Bengals , both at home)! Hopefully they make the playoffs, but if they had beat either the Jets or the Buccaneers they'd already be in!
