Bama's Cooper, Collins to enter draft

Alabama junior receiver Amari Cooper and junior running back T.J. Yeldon plan to leave school early and declare for the NFL draft, sources told ESPN.com's Chris Low. They'll be joined by junior safety Landon Collins, according to his mother, April Justin

And in better news.....all 4 and 5 star recruits . Very Happy

Alright guy's i'm ready to make my pick for the NCG ....
I had heard a rumor that certain players would not be there for the DUCK'S all on the offense , well now i know for sure they will not be playing ......there are 2 more that will not be playing ! That makes 3 of their major players on offense out for the game .....i also heard their center and both guards are banged up pretty good !

Report: Darren Carrington suspended

Dallas -- Oregon Ducks receiver Darren Carrington did not make the trip to Dallas for Monday night's College Football Playoff Championship Presented by AT&T against Ohio State, the school confirmed Friday.

Comcast Sportsnet reported Friday night that Carrington, a freshman from San Diego, failed an NCAA-administered drug test, testing positive for marijuana.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls14/story/_/id/12144022/darren-carrington-oregon-ducks-suspended-national-title-game-failed-drug-test

And now that that is in the open here's my pick

Very impressive performance by the Buckeyes last night. Totally over-powered the smaller Oregon team. James Franklin has his work cut out for him trying to compete with the monster Urban is building in Columbus!

Great to see that nuttin is back and well Very Happy .... Well my made it back to the SUPER BOWL to face the .... Should be one HELL of a game... Should be GREEN BAY there but you just cannot give up a 16-0 halftime lead and then be up 19-7 with less then 4 minutes to go and pull a classic Bill Buckner CHOKE JOB to go to overtime and lose. Everyone one wants to blame the guy who did not come up with the onside kick for Green Bay... In my opinion the guy that lost the game for the PACKERS was the corner back who got the interception from Russell Wilson with 5 minutes to go in the game and Green Bay up 19-7 and just laid down in the middle of the field when he had 2 blockers and 30 yards of field to run up and kill more time. That is where the game was lost. Early Vegas line had Seattle a + 2.5 favorite that line has already gone down to a pick em now.... I do believe fellas we are in for one of the most exciting SUPER BOWLS in recent memory... Story lines all over the place leading up to this one. Will get to those thoughts of mine over the coming 2 weeks leading up to the game cheers cheers

Post by sportsnut on Thu Jan 29, 2015 6:38 pm

OK ready to make my Super Bowl 49 pick! First off I really dislike both teams. But I think this should be a great game. Key will be which team can stop the other team's idiot running back. Don't think it's possible to dislike two players as much as I dislike Mr. Blount or Mr. Lynch! Gronk is another key. But I think Seattle will try to pressure Brady. But he will use the quick passing game. Enough analysis...
23 20 in OT!!!!

Yuck I feel dirty picking the Patriots! At Least Jos will be happy! Very Happy

Re: LETS TALK FOOTBALL

Post by Josilv5 on Fri Jan 30, 2015 7:52 pm

Okay guys here comes my SUPER BOWL XLIX pick.... My 30 23.... My feeling is a close game until the 4th quarter with the having the lead and a combination running duo of Legarrette Blount and Jonas Gray ( yes Belicheck takes him out of the dog house ) just pound the football against the smaller defensive line and wear them down. My surprise MVP Game Pick is either Patriots DE Chandler Jones or LB Jamie Collins.... They spy QB Russell Wilson and keep him in the pocket and force him to beat you with his throwing. I`ll give Marshawn Lynch his 5 yards per carry for 100 yards but stopping Wilson will be the top priority. I also believe if the are able ( however unlikely ) to keep Gronkowski quiet that WR Brandon Lefell could be a key factor going down field with the long ball. I also give the the edge in special teams with Edelmen and Amendola on kickoffs and punt returns. Hope you guys have a great weekend and hope for a realy great game on Sunday cheers cheers

Congrats Jos! Another Duck Boat parade! Still stunned by the ending. Surprised Seahawks owner Paul Allen hasn't fired every coach on the staff by now. Someone had to stop Pete Carroll from calling that pass play! Brady deserves a lot of credit though for coming back from 10 points down in the 4th!

Sad football is now officially over! Sad

Very happy that the Steelers got the Big Ben contract out of the way today. Knew it was going to happen, now they no his cost for the next 5 years. Signing a quality backup RB in Deangelo Williams was important because Bell is probably going to be suspended the 1st 2 games for his 'High Ride" with Blount last August. Don't know if this is being talked about nationally; but it's about 99.9% certain that Troy Polamolu has played his last snap with the Steelers. The team is hoping he retires. 1st ballot HOFer when he does!

Very satisfied with Steeler's draft! Needed to focus on OLB and secondary and they did. Plus they drafted Penn State TE Jesse James! He's a great athlete, 6' 8"and grew up in Pittsburgh! Loads of potential. Can't wait for camp here at the end of July! Very Happy
